Create your own Eden.
Bring warmth, peace, and a sense of home to any space. Inspired by nature and faith, my floral, botanical, and abstract paintings invite beauty and serenity into everyday life.

En Gedi in Israel is now a beautiful nature reserve, but was the place where David hid from King Saul and inspired a few of the psalms.
This piece was inspired by the idea of David's cave being a "secret place", with the silver concentric circles symbolizing the echoes of our prayers rising towards heaven. The waterfall symbolizes an outpouring of God's glory gently falling on us as we worship Him and abide in His presence.

"My beloved is to me a cluster of henna blossoms from the vineyards of En Gedi" (Song of Songs 1:14). This piece depicts a cluster of henna blossoms surrounded by Balm of Gilead buds, which were once used as a medicinal plant. Available on Etsy soon.

This piece was a deeply personal process and took 9 months to finish. It began as an abstract exploration during a season of healing; I was literally and figuratively painting over an old piece. The abstraction became frustrating, and I finally decided to break free of self-imposed rules an create something heartfelt and beautiful. This was inspired by the beauty and symbolism of Jerusalem, especially the Southern Steps. Available on Etsy soon.
This is an abstract floral, loosely depicting my favorite flower: the lehua blossom, as it's known in Hawaii. I love these flowers because they grow from new land created from volcanic eruptions. They represent the concept of "beauty from ashes." View on Etsy →
This was inspired by the Owl City song, "Plant Life," with these lyrics in particular: "I wish plant life would grow all around me so, I won't feel dead anymore." This is a moody abstract floral piece depicting a sense of hope for new life. View on Etsy →

This piece depicts the moment at Bethany from the Gospels, where a "sinful" woman comes to publicly anoint Jesus' feet with perfume--an act of intimate worship. Available on Etsy soon.
"Great is Thy Faithfulness" was the inspiration for this piece. The four trees are arranged in the order in the hymn: summer, winter, springtime, and harvest. View on Etsy →
I originally painted this as an abstract piece as I processed through a heartbreak. At some point, it changed direction and I saw it come together as a beautiful, vibrant vase of flowers on a windowsill. View on Etsy →
This abstract piece was inspired by an accordion player who showed me the way to own my own sense of beauty and value. It's a visual response to his song and the idea of setting our own song free. View on Etsy →
